We are excited to announce that the 7th Wavelength Conference will be held at Loughborough University, in the East Midlands of England, March 25 - 27, 2019.

Venue: School of Architecture, Building and Civil Engineering, Loughborough University

Wavelength provides an opportunity for research students and young professionals to present their work and ideas in a friendly and supportive environment.

This conference is open for international attendance and welcomes submissions from researchers across the fields of remote sensing and photogrammetry.

LOCATION

The conference is to be held at Loughborough University, which is based on a super 440 acre single-site campus, with an international reputation for excellence in teaching and research, strong links with industry, and an unrivalled reputation for sport.

Loughborough has also received its highest ever ranking in the guide, rising a further two places to fifth. Loughborough is at the heart of England in the northern most part of the county of Leicestershire and being centrally placed it is well served by road, rail and air. East Midlands Airport is only 7 miles away and offers both domestic and international flights. Birmingham International Airport is around an hour away from campus by car.

Loughborough's bustling town centre is located within comfortable walking distance and provides shoppers and visitors with a fantastic range of shops, restaurants, bars, venues and services. It offers a variety of shopping and dining options to suit all tastes. Additionally there is no shortage of pubs, clubs and bars, and also has two cinema's in the town.

SOCIAL EVENTS

As well as boasting a strong scientific program, there is also an active social scene offered at the Wavelength conference.

Monday (25th) evening is designated as the icebreaker, where delegates will visit a local pub.

The main social activitie will take place on Tuesday (26th) afternoon which will include a visit of a local site of natural\cultural importance and a social dinner.

More detailed information about social events will be announced in January 2019.
