RSPSoc is looking for some help on a number of projects:

1. To review, develop and update our web pages for schools and young people. This is a vital part of our mission. We have recently gained access to a large quantity of learning materials aimed at young people (schools) and need someone with some knowledge to review it, identify what needs updating, working with others to update it and to add new material. You will be mentored and supervised during the project.

2. To organise material and write a history of RSPSoc. RSPSoc is 75 years old in 2027. We want to celebrate that. We have a large archive of materials (written and digital). These need organising and then under guidance used to update our current history document. As part of this project we will need someone to also interview past and present members. To help with this we might engage a professional history writer.

Both roles have a small honarium attached to them. They would suit a recent graduate/postgraduate who wants some work experience.

The Chief Scientist Directorate (CSD) provides scientific and evidence leadership services and support to help Natural England operate as an evidence-led organisation. The Data Science Services (DSS) Team, within the Analysis Team of CSD, provides access to evidence and application of data science, statistics and geospatial analysis to maintain and expand our evidence base. 

The IJRS Journal is looking for 2 Deputy Editors. The Deputy Editor role is a great opportunity for a senior academic with a broad research background in remote sensing.
